Yea! Congratulations... you took me up on the dare! hehe These are fantastic... great work... my favorites are 'glass' and 'foot' but they are all wonderful interpretations of the subjects. Nice work! charlie - alwayscurious.com

gosh thanks for the comments!

yw - you're right about the pressure! but then charlie just went and double-dog-dared me - for which I hold you at least partly responsible ;) - so that was that, heheh.

m2 - saturday hmmm.. are you sitting comfortably?
the technicalities of the shot itself I won't bore you with. Instead let me tell you the story behind saturday.

It could be about any saturday, but it was particularly about the preceding one.
it symbolises the way the weekend cut through the mundane darkness of the weekdays that flanked it. a bright brilliant day (and night)that streaked through, zooming past far too quickly.
And then it was over. And you know it was wonderfully luminescent and dazzling, but all you can remember about it is a diluted faded version. And that's what you see here.

thanks daisies,

ok, so it's now my turn, in what is fast becoming a 26-things tradition:
I double dog dare you! :)
if you take up the challenge, I'd love to see your snaps.
